Ni Haixia: To treat cancer, one only needs to remove cold and transform heat, eliminate excess and replenish deficiency, and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. There is no need for Western medicine chemotherapy!

The difference between Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine lies in that Western medicine is a microscopic medicine, while traditional Chinese medicine is a macroscopic medicine. The two have extremely different views, so when Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine are discussed together, it's like talking past each other. Because Western medicine advocates a microscopic perspective, it pays great attention to where the disease is located. In order to determine the location, many instruments have been developed, such as ultrasonic scanners, X-ray machines, etc. And in order to make cancer visible on the films, some contrast agents that can show up under radiation must be injected into the patient first. After finding the cancer, it is then decided whether to perform surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or even use them in combination. Due to overemphasizing where the cancer tumor is and how to kill it, patients have already suffered a lot of harm from the moment of diagnosis in Western medicine.

I often say two sentences to my patients. One is "For what?" and the other is "Then what?" Whenever a patient tells me that Western medicine wants them to do tests, biopsies, etc., I ask the patient "For what?" They answer that because their doctor said that they need to do a biopsy to know what's going on, so they have to do it. I reply that they are wrong. After doing the biopsy, they still won't know exactly what's wrong with them. Then the doctor will tell them that they need to have surgery to take it out to know.

I then ask them that even if it is determined that they have cancer after the biopsy, "Then what?" The patient will say that their doctor will decide whether to perform surgery, chemotherapy, or cobalt-60 irradiation, these three deadly measures. I tell the patient that why Western medicine has hundreds of different names for cancer, it seems that they know all about cancer, but why do they always have only three treatment methods? They don't know how to answer me.

I will answer the readers. Why can traditional Chinese medicine completely cure cancer? First, traditional Chinese medicine doesn't really care where the cancer is. Because traditional Chinese medicine cares that there should be no cancer throughout the body. So when we treat, we adopt the treatment principle of achieving overall balance of the body. At the same time, we strengthen the patient's appetite to keep the patient in good physical strength to cope with this serious disease. So it is a systemic treatment that combines treatment and strengthening the body at the same time. Therefore, the exact location of the cancer is not very important.

Second, from the perspective of the macroscopic medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, we can observe which internal organ of the patient has a problem, and at the same time take into account whether other internal organs will be affected at the same time or have already been affected. Because we can predict which internal organs will be involved, we Chinese medicine practitioners will consider the future development of cancer from the very beginning of treatment, and thus have already done preventive work in advance.

For example, when we treat colorectal cancer, we first protect the liver at the beginning. Because we believe that if this cancer worsens, the first place it will metastasize to is the liver, that is, liver cancer. When Western medicine treats colorectal cancer, often after surgery and chemotherapy, patients will die of liver cancer. This clearly tells you that Western medicine cannot prevent it from metastasizing to the liver and becoming liver cancer in advance, and even if they know, they can't do anything about it, while traditional Chinese medicine can.

So if traditional Chinese medicine treats cancer from the beginning, it can confine the cancer to a corner and prevent it from spreading outward. In addition, we can strengthen the patient's physical strength and prevent the patient from taking various vitamins that are most likely to feed cancer cells. These harmful Western things are the most undesirable. Our orthodox traditional Chinese medicine suggests that patients eat more Chinese food and avoid monosodium glutamate, which is also harmful. Choosing high-quality food is definitely helpful for cancer patients to regain their physical strength.

Third, the patient's mood. Every time my patients come to see me, their hands are shaking while talking to me, and their voices are also trembling. Why is this? If medicine fully understands all the causes of the disease and can completely cure cancer, why would patients be afraid?

Now Western medicine doesn't know how cancer is caused, and there is no really effective way to cure cancer. So when a patient hears that they have a certain type of cancer, they are already disheartened and frightened out of their wits while still in the doctor's consulting room. Because patients know very well that Western medicine will give them three deadly measures. After using these three measures, the patient will still die, and it's not clear whether they die of cancer or these three deadly measures.

Also, because they know that the outcome will be death whether they are treated or not, with no hope of survival, everyone is so scared that they are almost frightened to death. These three deadly measures are all lethal. Even the martial arts moves of the four characters Dongxie (Eastern Heretic), Xidu (Western Venom), Nandi (Southern Emperor), and Beigai (Northern Beggar) in Jin Yong's novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes combined together are no match for them. Don't you think it's terrifying?

So after cancer patients die, when doctors check the cause of death, it is found that they die of heart failure due to being frightened, not of cancer. So Western medicine has become a medical theory that can unintentionally scare patients to death. This is the true meaning of my question "Then what?" Patients are living well when they don't know their situation. Once they know, they age suddenly. The more they know, the faster they are scared to death.

Let me give an example to illustrate. In January 2004, a 61-year-old American came to see me. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor by Western medicine. After surgical removal, the cancer cells metastasized to the lymph nodes and became lymphoma. Then he was treated with chemotherapy. After about five chemotherapy sessions, the cancer cells spread more seriously. They were all over his body, even on his bones, and tumors even emerged on his forehead. Because you didn't need to touch them with your hands, you could see them with your eyes, clearly showing that the treatment was not only ineffective but also accelerated the spread of cancer. So Western medicine had to give up.

I believe that if the tumor hadn't emerged on his forehead, Western medicine would have continued until the patient died. Their three deadly measures do not allow for failure; they must be lethal. Otherwise, if the patient survives and is cured by other doctors, how can they survive in the future?

Western medicine gave up the treatment, perhaps thinking that there was no hope. Then the patient heard from a friend that there was a traditional Chinese medicine clinic run by a Korean in Boston that could treat cancer, so he went to Boston for medical treatment. He took the medicine for a month each time, which was a concentrated medicine produced in the Chinese mainland. He had been taking it for about three months. When I saw it, it was something like "Tianxian No. 1", and this doctor hoped that the patient would not stop the chemotherapy of Western medicine.

The patient felt it was very strange. Even the Western doctor who gave him chemotherapy had proved that chemotherapy would worsen his condition, but this Korean traditional Chinese medicine doctor asked him to continue the chemotherapy. What kind of cancer doctor is this? So he continued to inquire. As a result, his family doctor told him that there was a traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Central Florida who might be able to save him. He said that he had heard of this doctor and that this doctor was very capable. He had patients who were on the verge of death but were cured by this doctor. He might as well give it a try. Anyway, he was going to die, so it didn't matter whether it was traditional Chinese medicine or Western medicine. Life was the most important thing. So he came to see me, and the story began.

When he first came to my clinic, after listening to his story, I first gave him a good scolding. Because he was so scared by his illness that he was at a loss, and his whole body was very stiff. Even when he spoke, only his lower lip was moving. My first task was to help him overcome the psychological obstacle of being scared. Fortunately, I was very fluent in English when scolding him. In order to save him, I had to scold him severely in front of his wife. He was stunned by me at that time. I told him that if he continued to be so scared, he was a rare coward, and even the gods couldn't save him. Sooner or later, he would die of a sudden heart attack. I asked him if he wanted to live.

He said he wanted to live. I told him that he had to listen to me in everything and there was no room for compromise. He said he was willing. So I first asked him to stop taking all vitamins immediately, stop taking the medicine given by the Korean traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and not think about chemotherapy anymore. I said go east, and he should go east; I said go west, and he should go west. Of course, he immediately agreed. I said that as soon as he violated my regulations, I would stop giving him the medicine. This really scared him, and he kept nodding. Then I held his hand and gently told him that he wouldn't die. He just needed to enjoy his life to the fullest, and he didn't even need to change his pace. He could do whatever he liked, of course, except killing people. Leave the rest to me. Since he was paying me, I was of course going to save him, and this was originally my responsibility.

After hearing this, he burst into tears. Then I began to examine his body. The lymph nodes on both sides of his neck were as hard as several walnuts growing together, and there were also many hard lumps on his collarbone. As soon as I touched the lumps, the patient cried out in pain, saying that it felt like thousands of needles were piercing his body at the same time. He told me that there were lumps in many parts of his body, and the neck was just a small part. After asking him some questions about his diet, sleep, and defecation, the treatment began.

It took seven months in total, and he came for a follow-up visit every two weeks. In addition to prescribing decoctions, he took "Hantang No. 7" from start to finish. When he came to see me in August this year, all the lumps could no longer be felt. His physical strength had recovered, his appetite had always been good, and his defecation was normal. Then he showed me the examination report he got from the Western doctor and told me that at first, his doctor was so scared that he almost jumped out of his skin when he saw him, as if he had seen a ghost. After confirming that it was him, the doctor began to examine him. As soon as he touched him, he found that all the tumors were gone, whether it was lymphoma or bone cancer, they had all disappeared. Then, after looking at his blood test report, the doctor lowered his head and remained silent.

So he asked the doctor how he was now. The doctor asked what he meant by "how". The patient said, of course, about his illness. The doctor said that his blood test report showed that his body was better than his. What else could be wrong with him? But he was very curious why he was so well. So the patient told him everything. After hearing this, the doctor's first reaction was to ask the patient to keep taking traditional Chinese medicine, which was definitely good. American Western doctors are better than Taiwanese Western doctors, especially in medical ethics. You can see this is the reaction of American Western doctors. The life and death of patients come first.

I tell the readers that it is American Western doctors who refer the most patients to my clinic. Some Western doctors in Taiwan will not only immediately deny it but also say that traditional Chinese medicine is not orthodox medicine and that people should not believe in traditional Chinese medicine. However, American Western doctors say that traditional Chinese medicine has been applied to the human body for more than a thousand years, and it must have its unique advantages. Since we don't understand it, why not give it a try? Of course, there are also such excellent Western doctors in Taiwan. They will definitely agree that as long as it can cure the disease, why not try either traditional Chinese medicine or Western medicine?

From the above case, we can see that even if a brain tomography scan and biopsy are done and the doctor knows where the cancer is, so what? After the patient experiences the three deadly measures of Western medicine, which are more powerful than the "Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms", they are still on a dead end and will definitely be scared to death. So what?

From start to finish, I don't pay attention to where the cancer tumor is. I only know how to remove cold and transform heat, eliminate excess and replenish deficiency, and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. At the same time, I strengthen the patient's body and keep his appetite normal, let him eat more natural food, and encourage the patient that with me here, there is no need to be afraid and the disease will be cured. I re-establish the patient's will to live, and then the patient recovers. The difference is so great, and this is the big difference between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.

This kind of case is really not surprising, because every traditional Chinese medicine doctor can do it. The biggest problem lies with the patients. Let me ask, which Chinese person can be like him and continuously take traditional Chinese medicine pills and drink bitter decoctions for seven months, not doubt traditional Chinese medicine, and still have confidence in traditional Chinese medicine?

He never asked how long he needed to take traditional Chinese medicine to get better. His attitude really makes many Chinese people feel ashamed. Generally, people start to doubt why they haven't gotten better after taking traditional Chinese medicine for a while. Sometimes they think so in their hearts but don't say it. They use the excuse that traditional Chinese medicine is too bitter to drink and stop taking it on their own. So they only complete half of the treatment course. How can they get better?

However, if they are taking Western medicine, they will never doubt or hesitate even if they take it for a lifetime. Such people simply discriminate against traditional Chinese medicine. I believe that traditional Chinese medicine doctors in Taiwan and the Chinese mainland can all do it and cure cancer. It's just a matter of the time it takes to treat the disease. If everyone is like the patient in the above case and is willing to take traditional Chinese medicine until they die, with such determination, why worry about not being able to cure the disease? And who will die of cancer?

His wife asked me if other traditional Chinese medicine doctors are also very capable and can cure her husband like I did. I answered yes. I believe they can all solve her husband's problem, just with different speeds. I'm nothing special! I usually give such a uniform answer to foreigners. We Chinese can quarrel among ourselves about our own affairs. Why do we need them to intervene? What does it have to do with them?
